ds1 used to have awful night terrors but have stopped in recent years. He is now 6 and for the last few months he has been shouting out and yelling and sometimes just talking in his sleep nearly evrynight.
I end up jumping out of bed 3 or 4 times a night sometimes because he sounds distressed and when i go in he is usually sitting up but not really awake, sometimes he looks like he's trying to touch something thats not there if that makes sense!
I am worried that it's because somehing is bothering him maybe, but he seems o.k during the day and says everythings fine.
Help!

My DS1 does this too. He is 6 as well. According to my mum, I did the same as a young girl so I don't get too worried about it. However, it is a pain getting up a few times a night to a child who is talking jibberish.

Its a really distressing thing to see, but I have got used to it.

But if anyone has any answers I would love to hear them too.

well at least we're not the only ones with this. I was really wondering if it was totally abnormal. Sometimes sounds like he's in a right panic, does your son atomicstockinghanger? ( nice name btw )
