Daytime naps

My DD is sleeping really well now at night despite 6 months of complete hell with very little sleep at any point. However she currently is fighting her daytime naps and no longer gets sleepy when breast feeding. She doesn't sleep in the pram when we are out as she is super nosy and will only sleep in the car on really long journeys. A friend of mine suggested a full sun canopy on the pram for nap times so that DD can't see what is going on, has anyone got any experience of these and did you find they helped, I am desperate to get this sorted as it will probably start to affect bedtime very soon!!

we've got one of these which works really well. Although around 6 months I remember naps getting difficult - might have been because DS wanted to nap at different times to those I was putting him down. once he got established onto solids it became a little bit easier as I worked naps around meals.

Thanks Iggly, I think I might give it a try as she has had absolutely no sleep today and although she has settled well for bed tonight, it does worry me that she has being awake since 7am this morning. . . . when does this mummy lark get easier Hmm x x
