4 month sleep 'regression'

For the 4 month growth spurt do babies always regress in their sleep patterns?

DD is 16 weeks, nights are hit and miss wakings normally between 1 and 4 feeds, but through the day she's grumpy unless she's asleep, and she just wants to sleep all the time.

She goes down about 7pm and gets up between 6 and 8am. Then she'll nap about an hour after she gets up for an hour or two, then an hour or two later she'll nap again for an hour or two..etc...etc...

Is this normal for a growth spurt or should I be worried?

She's also started on baby rice/porridge as advised - if that would have any effect?

Well, it's exactly the same as my DD (18 weeks) so i'm guessing it's normal :)
