I know it's normal for toddlers to love getting up far earlier than their parents would like at the weekend, I just wonder how many more years of this there are likely to be before I get frustrated and have to start digging her out of her bed at lunchtime?
Thank goodness at 23 months DD has finally learned the art of sleeping without recurrent wakings for milk, she's teething again so a bit worse than normal but really, wake up have milk at 530, back to sleep til big poo at 6 and then snuggle down again til 6.30 since when she's been wide awake and full of beans... We have guests (childless) so have gone downstairs to ensure we don't disturb them too much and I have resorted to cbeebies as it's far to wet for the garden and I can't face having a shower yet (she's happily glued to chuggington whilst chewing a wet flannel
when does this phase end? husband in bed as tomorrow is my birthday and I have been promised a long lie in so felt only fair he got a lie in of sorts today)
