How to Co Sleep...?

This is possibly a bit silly but bear with me! My 9 week old - touching wood - sleeps really well, is bf through the night, one feed at 5am and up at 7.30. He sleeps in a moses basket next to my bed and some mornings when we can lie in I'd love to put him in with me and snooze for a bit but don't know how to do it safely, what with all the pillows and duvets and warnings!

Thanks in advance for any advising!

Hi I co-slept through pure need (DD only slept attached to the boob). Some of the things that helped us were-

  • Definately read the tips regarding safe co-sleeping, most of it is common sense (IMO) but it made me relax about it.
  • Putting DD in a gro bag on top of the duvet.
  • I wore a long sleeved top over a vest top so that only my boob was out, otherwise my arms and tummy would get cold.
  • If blankets were needed, I used large cellular blankets instead of a duvet.

Enjoy your cuddles [hgrin]
