DS is struggling to sleep past 6 am at the moment. I miss lie-ins!

DD1 has a groclock and is not allowed to get out of bed until 7.30am. DD2 is only 1 but will sleep until 6.45am/ 7am, or maybe I just ignore her until then....

Dd (4.6) usually wakes up between 7 and 8am, however, ds (8mths) is up at 5.30am! I'm hoping this will not continue for years to come, although it does sound as if that might be the case. I miss lie-ins too.

please can I swap someone's DS? Mine is practising for teenagerhood.

If left to own devices would wake at about 8-8.30am, and won't go to bed until about 8.30pm-9pm no matter what.

We go to bed at 10 and wake at 6 so we can leave for work at 7!

Getting DS out of bed is just a nightmare. I've tried everything from tickling to music to "OH LOOK THERE'S AN ELEPHANT IN THE BATHROOM!" to tugging the duvet off to picking him up and parking him on the loo to...

I really really wish he was a morning person...

(the elephant was a towel one. See Towelgate thread of a couple of weeks ago!)
