Dear All,

We have a 9 mth old daughter who sleeps very well (now!). She has the same routine every night - bath, then breastfeed, then bed. We want to think about changing this, so we can get her off the final breastfeed in the not-too-distant future. Does anyone have any advice/suggestions/experience?

Hi Auster ... My DS has always had that routine. I am not sure why you want to change that routine unless it is to stop the breastfeeding? My DS had milk (from a bottle) until he was 3 and a half after his bath before bed ... and I think lots of children do.
Does your dd take a bottle? Or a cup? Because you could still have Bath/Milk/Bed without the breastfeed if you see what I mean??

Not that I have much experience with stopping b/fing a 9 month old but if she won't take a bottle or cup from you have you tried your partner doing it when you are not around ...
