i just went and bought the blackout material (4.00) from Dunelm and bought some the velcro too. they do some that's self adhesive so really easy so put on the window.

I've just been looking for those!

I want to put behind existing blinds but have a stupid question

when you open the blinds in the morning, what happens to the black out blind? Does it go up or do you take it down completely?

I know as we have them too www.customblackoutblinds.co.uk they stick to the window frame so you can have any curtains over the top.

They dont fall down like the do it your self ones, I leave mine up!
