Question about Dr Brown teats

So DS is FF and we use Dr Brown bottles. DS is 5 months and I only just (shamefully) realised we've been using Level 1 teats - they're for up to 3 months. We've switched to Level 2 but there's a lot more spillage and obviously a bit faster, so he has coughed/choked more. Should we persevere so he gets used to it? Or revert back?

Id go back to the level 1 for a while. If hes not happy he will push the bottle away or try sucking really hard on the teat, fight against you, fall asleep because he has tired himself out with the sucking before he finishes his feed etc - you'll just know if hes really not happy with them

I never went by the guidelines on teats etc anyway, just another way to get you to buy more of the brand before you might need to IMO
