So, decided to try this.........
Been at it 2 hrs now, including a feed [tired and frustrated emoticon].
DD will grumble away for ages then just start screaming/crying again.

We have been feeding to sleep since day one, had issues with TT not resolved until 7 weeks ago. Feeding to sleep doesn't seem to work now either.

No naps in the day - she just won't!

Help!! The end of my tether has been reached!

I think I read somewhere that PU/PD doesn't really work until they're a little bit older (poss 5 months-ish?) as before that it makes them more excited rather than calming them down. May be that your DD is still a bit young for it? It never worked with my now 7 mo until quite recently, and now I find so long as I cuddle him for long enough and only put him down when he is very relaxed and sucking his thumb on my shoulder he usually goes off.

Have you tried white noise? That worked wonders for us.
