New Mattress

Number two is on the way. Who thinks its really essential to buy a new mattress for the cot? Number ones mattress was bought new, and is still is good condition.

What does everyone think?

i wouldn't buy a new one
well, i might if my first was 5 and it had been in the attic for 5 years..

The SIDS website says you dont need a new mattress as long as the one you have is clean and in good condition - not too soft, saggy, etc. I would normally direct you to the SIDS website but the FAQ page is being updated.
