2yo getting up repeatedly through the night, I'm desperate

DD1 will be 3 next month and has been getting up 3 or 4 (or more!) times through the night since january (around the time that DD2 started to crawl which did seem to really unsettle DD1). She isn't upset when she gets up, I just take her back to bed, say goodnight and she goes back off to sleep. Then we repeat the process every couple of hours until 7am.

I'm at the end of my tether. We've tried reward stickers and toys, promise of doing something fun the next day but nothing works for any length of time (I think the best she's done is 4 nights in a row after the clocks changed). The only thing left I can think of us to move her bed into my room which tbh I'd rather not do cos I don't think I'd ever get her out again!

Any advice would be gratefully received, I feel like I'm failing her. I can't be the mum they deserve when I'm this bloody tired.

Its a phase- admittedly, rather a long phase...

but could she not sleep with you for a while (and yes, you will be able to move her back into her room eventually). Put her to bed in her room, but just let her stay when she comes in during the night.

It WON'T be forever...when she turns 3, try to get her to stay in her room again.

You need your sleep. good luck Smile

Thank you for replying! I could let her get in with me but I'm cosleeping with DD2 and between the two of them they spend all night kicking me or shoving me off the end of the bed which is why I'd thought about moving her bed.

Argh I just feel so helpless!
