I've posted before, not much response so I'll try again. I'm aware that this must have been asked before but how long does the 6-month regression/dev stage go on for?

Ds already had rubbish sleep, waking throughout night and up early but this last week has been hellish. Daytime naps are awful, he's awake half the night and unusually grumpy in days and won't play/be by himself. Also feeding aggressively. Ok I know it won't last forever but how long has it lasted for others? If he's awake for hours in night at 6 months I'm gradually losing will to live. I've stopped weaning for now to see if it helps - doesn't. If someone tells me this didn't last for their baby longer than say 10 days, that'll give me some hope.

Why is this not happening to friends babies? There's not much support/sympathy among friends as their babies are sleeping through the night.

Wine sorry you're having a tough time.

Ok, it lasted about 1- 2 weeks with my DS. It was hell!! Then things settled down - then after his 6 month jabs got bad again!!

Right now he's got 2 new teeth and a cold! Exhausting!! Spending alot of days in my pjs!

He sleeps from 7pm - 4am no problems, and can be very unsettled until about 7am. Teething is a killer!
