She is exhausted, but cries and cries if we put her down. She is absolutely fine being put down (awake) in eve, and also if she wakes up during night. But in the day, no matter how tired she is, she screams and screams - sometimes she will eventually fall asleep, but sometimes I have to give up.
I feel like we're confusing her, ans I never seem able to do the same thing - sometimes ssh-pat, sometimes picking her up til calm, and sometimes just bringing her downstairs. What do people recommend as something to try and stick to? (also hard as Ds is 2 and if he's around/we're about to go out/he's going to sleep it can often change what I am able to do/how long I persevere!)
But I feel I may be confusing her with different things each time, and am not sure what to do!
Any advice welcome!
