Grumbling

I have just put my 5 and a half month DD to bed and she is grumbling away to herself but not crying.
Is it ok for me to leave her to it?
I usually go running straight in but I dont know if I should just let her mumble away.
She had a 6oz bottle at 6.45 so I know she isnt hungry.
The thing is that I normally feed her to sleep but I want to break this habit so that DH can start putting her to bed!

If just grumbling, then I'd wait and see if she grumbles off to sleep (ds1) or escalates to upset (ds2).

just to clarify that DD is breastfed other than 1 bottle of formula before bed that DH usually gives her.

Its escalated!!!!!

DO you have a plan? Is dh going to go in or will you feed/cuddle/pat/whatever?

DH is away with work this week. I'm cussling but as soon as I put her down she starts again!!!

Nope! Well there is the dog but he is hiding in the kitchen!

I hate lying there trying to sleep myself and just waiting for them to wake up at any moment. You are never sure if you will manage to fall asleep before the grumbling/stirring starts again or if you will have only been asleep for 10 minutes before it starts up.
