I know that a few of us on here have PND (or suspected PND) which I think has probably been caused/exacerbated by sleep issues. I wondered if anyone would like to join in a support thread about how we are doing with our PND - treatments etc?

My DD is 6 months. I got diagnosed about 3 weeks ago. Started ADs which have helped a massive amount, as has admitting there is a problem. I have also started counselling which is helping me too, as I am very resentful about the birth I had.

Hi Please. I too am suffering from PND. My ds is 4 weeks old and I also have a 3.5 year old. I think I had undiagnosed PND with my first son, so have been able to recognise the signs better this time.
I have had loads of support fom my health visitor and doctor and started anti depressants last wek.
One of my big worries is that my baby will only want to sleep on me. I think this really makes my depression and anxiety worse.
Also the lack of sleep at the moment really makes my PND worse. Thankfully my dh is I credibly supportive and helping with night feeds etc.
I think a support thread would be great
