13 months - sleep gone bad!

Ok, so she has never been a great sleeper (posted on here for advice a number of times), but really thought we were getting some where - dropped the night feed and although still woke in the night one or two times, this was a very quick 'night time' and lying her back down (no picking up or cudding required).

But for the last week things have gone ridiculous! Up 3 or 4 times and I am with her anything up to an hour. She seems to settle ok but wakes again after minutes - this can go on for ages. She does not seem to want / need picking up and cuddling, but does seem to want either me or DH next to the cot / hand on her for a long period if time - I guess until she is in a deep sleep again.

This could be teething - I think I can see some coming - but when she is usually teething she screams and screams, not the patten that is happening at the moment.

She is otherwise absolutely fine, although tired in the mornings due to her disturbed sleep.

She is eating loads (growth spurt at this age?) and although took her first steps about 6 weeks ago she has just started to really walk on her own for a long period of time when we are out and about - so may be a developmental spurt disturbing her sleep? I am grasping at straws I know!

does something happen at 13 months I don't know about?!

I am knackered and hoping someone can share their wisdom with me and reassure this will get better ASAP!! thank youuuuuu!

yep you guessed it. there's a developmental leap at 13 months (when do they end? Hmm) it will get better I promise. We had the same with DS, then his molars hit, then around 15/16 months he started sleeping through the whole night after doing it at 12 months. Now at 17 months, he's still got teeth coming through (the molars took aaaages) with about 6 in the space of a month. His sleep has gone a bit but only one night waking and he settles very quickly.
