My dd has just turned four. For the last few weeks she has been waking crying two or three times a night. Not everyday but quite often. She slept through from two weeks and was fine until now.She either wants to get up, has tummy ache, wants her socks off/on or can we turn he pillow over to the cold side !Its driving us nuts as were not used to being sleep deprived! Dont think theres anything worrying her, shes very sociable and loves school. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Not sure what to advise. I have had 3 children, 2 grown up now.

Phases like this dont stay forever.
All i can suggest is lots of cuddles in the day.

A soothing relaxing calm wind down to bed time.
No hyper/scary cartoons.
Reassurance that she is fine and safe at night and you are only next door.
Possibly a star chart for the nights she doesnt disturb you
She should be tired enough after a day at school to sleep through most nights.

Wishing you good luck and hope she grows out of it very soon. x

Thanks. Hoping its just a phase too. Have tried tiring her out today so will see how that goes. Bedtime routine hasnt really changed since she was a baby.May try a star chart as she loves stickers !
