How long is a 'nap'?

DD is 6 weeks old and won't go down on her back for more than 15 mins during the day (I suspect because of windiness - she wakes up and starts fussing and when I pick her up she often does a big burp or fart). She won't go down in her pram either but is happy sleeping upright in a sling, especially if I'm on the move.

Is it too disruptive to her sleep cycle to nap for 15 min periods only? Should I continue putting her in the sling so she gets a longer period of sleep in the day?
