For ages DD - now almost 6 months - slept really well, and we had a long stretch of one feed a night which was fantastic. Now it is all over the place: for the last fortnight (at least) we've had 2 and sometimes 3 a night, then 1, then 2 etc etc, with no pattern as regards timings either.
She is on 2 solid meals a day, one mainly rice and formula, and finishes them both up. She was on 3 for a bit but I posted here about sleep and people suggested she may have been getting bulk rather than calories on 3 meals, so I eased off a bit. This doesn't seem to have made any difference though.
The fact that she is still capable of having just 1 feed occasionally makes me wonder whether it is hunger as opposed to comfort, especially since she has also gone for 10 hour stretches as well fairly recently.
I am really knackered, and am contemplating controlled crying when she hits 6 monhs - this seems too long to be a growth spurt, and her teething seems to have really eased off as well so I don't think that is waking her. Anyone else in a similar situation??

I would say it's a growth spurt, and that she's too young for CC.
My dd was on 3 meals a day at that age (+2 bottles) and never fed at night.
