Blackouts

Can anyone tell me where to buy (pref online) blackout panels that you hang behind your existing curtains? Google's only bringing up curtains with a sewn in lining.

And...has anyone successfully used them to get an extra half hour in the morning?!

Thank you

I got a dark blue blackout roller blind from Homebase, I think it was. It sits inside the window casement, was easy to fit, and the curtain rail goes above the window in the usual place. Definitely very useful for encouraging naps and in midsummer when the sun is up at 4am!

We got ones that hang behind existing curtains (using normal curtain ring things) from B&Q. John Lewis and Dunelm Mill also do them.

We used www.customblackoutblinds.co.uk

They made us a total black out blind made to measure and we didn't have to touch the curtains.
They actually block all of the light and were not expensive at all :)
