Slumber Bear

Has anyone used one? We've had ours arrive today and I'm hoping our two week old baby girl will sleep peacefully in her crib tonight rather than on me! We've tried everything else.

If I'm being unrealistic, please break it to me gently - I'm knackered

Worked fantastically for DS. Every time he woke, he went back to sleep. We had it for DD1, but used it less.

If it's not as sensitive as it should be, take the unit out of the bear and use it on it's own.

That's music to my ears. Thanks daffa. I could really do with some sleep.

We used one for DD. Worked well for a while, but then we moved on to the next challenge!

It's worth a try when you've got sleep issues. Good luck x

Now, I don't want to speak too soon, but I put DD in her crib awake with slumber bear and she has gone off to sleep on her own! Now all I need is for her to stay asleep until her next feed, and for it to work another couple of times through the night. If this continues, I may feel human by the end of next week. I will keep you informed.

We love ours. Took the unit out of the bear though. I put it on everytime I put her down and hear it going at various points during the night when she stirs. I don't know if she would get back to sleep on her own anyway, but I like to think it helps!

mamjo · 25/02/2011 22:08

It's send DD back to sleep 3 out of 4 times.

Hope it works for you.

We also had to take the unit out of the bear though.

NotSoPukeyMummy · 25/02/2011 22:17

We also took the unit out of the bear.

But hooray OP! Long may it last!

snowmummy · 26/02/2011 09:28

Blimey, that's the first half decent night we've had since DD was born. She slept on her sleepcurve mattress next to me, but not on me. I feel quite normal today! She's napping now, and when she stirs, the womb noises come on and she settles again. Its amazing Grin
