Night terrors - Is a sleepover a good idea?

Does anyone else's child suffer from night terrors?

My 3yr old has recently started suffering from night terrors. My husband and I are just getting to grips with them, although it is still terrible to watch her be so terrified and not be able to do anything about it.

We are a couple of months off having our second, and some of the family seem to think its a good idea to have my daughter sleep over at her cousins house so that she can get used to it should we want to send her off for a night or two when the baby arrives.

Although I know she doesn't recall the night terrors, I cant help but feel uneasy about letting her sleep in a new environment and wonder if this could make things worse. If I had my way I would keep her at home, but I am feeling under pressure by my family to go along with it. Am I over-reacting?

I don't think sleeping in a different house without you to be there to comfort her if/when she has a nightmare would make the situation better.
