Should I wake DS from nap?

My DS has been sleeping strangely (he's 20 weeks) and had a disrupted sleep last night (woke at 12, 2, 5, and 7) and has been napping since 10.30 (it's now 12.40) when he normally only sleeps for 1.5 hours in the morning. Should I wake him? I just went up and he's sleeping so soundly that I couldn't bare to, but I read that babies shouldn't nap for longer than 2 hours. Quick responses please!

I NEVER wake my boy!! Let him sleep and try and make sure he only has a short nap later. 20 weeks is a tough one, sleep routine goes out the window for a few days.
Some mornings my DS will sleep for 40 mins, today he slept for 2 hours! :)

Don't wake him if he's tired from a bad night. No idea why a tired baby shouldn't sleep longer than 2 hours.... sounds silly to me.

Let him sleep. The better my DS (12 weeks) sleeps during the day, the better at night - doesn't seem to matter how long he naps for (same with my niece). With growth spurts, illness etc a baby will take whatever sleep (and food) they need at a given time.

Thanks! I left him and he slept for just over 3 hours and is really happy now :)

I do tend to wake mine normally, otherwise her sleeps for the rest of the day go tits up (she loves a routine!), but if his night was far worse than normal, let him sleep
