My dd2 is such a horrendous sleeper and i have really tried to roll with it but have felt myself losing it tonight. she has barely slept for more than 3 hours in a row since birth (19 weeks ago) and was settling when fed/woke. Now she wakes every 1-2 hrs and i'm struggling! i don't cosleep well and even when she has come in, she stil wakes!Tonight has been really bad.she drops off but can't seem to get into a deep sleep so wakes 10 mins later-aaagghh!
anyway, I'm not really after solutions although any suggestions welcome but I just wondered how you get through this without losing it?

You do get through - just look very haggard... Wink

Have you any time in the day to catch up? Does your older one have a nap when you could all snuggle up together? I found that even 15-20 mins in the daytime left me in a much better frame of mind.

And it will get better, just not fast enough. But it will.

Thanks! My dd1 is 6 and at sch so i could have a sleep but am often out when dd2 is napping. Maybe i should do less but tbh on the odd occasion i've tried to sleep,I just settle down and dd2 will wake! (She only naps in half hour chunks in the cot, longer if out)
