Hi, OnEdge I don't like you being here by yourself & feeling lonesome, lets crack open a bottle of wine [rips open bag of crisps with teeth], maybe someone else will hear the glasses chinking & turn up

Sossiges · 09/02/2011 00:09

How old's your little 'un? [nosey]

OnEdge · 09/02/2011 00:12

He is 18 months. Im not lonely cos I have my 5 month old down here with me who also is not into sleeping at night. I have a bottle of wine and some chocolate orange on the go.

He has gone to sleep on round two tonight, last night it was round 4 so that is progress Smile

Chink !

Oh god bless you. I was contemplating this with my 15 month old. For 2 weeks he would not go to sleep alone and woke up every other hour.

Thankfully he seems to be past whatever bug/teething thing has been vexing him and goes to sleep with no fuss.

I fully support you in your quest for sleep, how is it going?

The evil fecking sleep stealers will not best us yet.

Its going well so far, he is a big softy and a Mummy's boy. I am literally gritting my teeth with my determination to sort this out for all our sakes. My Husband's eyes look weird he is so beyond it, I have forced him upstairs into the attic bedroom and made him promise to wear ear plugs, he was heading for burn out.

Once I have sorted son out, will tackle 5 month old (not with controlled crying I quickly add )

I sorted my 3 year old DD first, she would only sleep in with me and was waking up when the baby woke - fekkin nightmare ! I used a jessie Cow Girl doll as an incentive and she went into her own bed no problem for the two weeks I stated.
