From swaddle to Grobag

I've just bought my 9 week LO her first grobag but she dislikes!

Anyone got any tips on how to get her to like please? I'm sure with a bit of persuasion it will be her favourite thing! ( I currently swaddle her at night which is probably the problem..)

I swaddled dd's top half over the grobag for a while, before gradually leaving one arm out, then the other. 9 weeks is still v young though so your dd might prefer swaddling a while longer still. Start with naps first perhaps?

I'm a bit paranoid about her getting too hot in the grobag so not sure about swaddling as well, unless I get some really light material perhaps... yes maybe I'll start with naps. Thanks!

Yes, dd is cold all the time so I didn't have heat as an issue. You could try a very narrow strip of thin material that would just keep her arms in check? One thing I wondered about trying but never ended up needing to was to put dd's arms inside the gro bag as a way of loosely swaddling them- not sure if that would work?
