i know the recommendation is 1 year but is that the earliest they recommend, or do they suggest you should wait till later?
DD2 loves being cuddled in to our pillow and duvet (i don't do this when i'm sleeping, just to settle her) and i feel she would be better with her own.
She is 10 mo and i'm a stickler at doing things by the book and with DD1 she was 12mo in the summer so didn't really need it so we waited a few months.
Did anyone give their dcs one early? What is the reason for the 12mo recommendation?
