How long does the 4 month sleep regression last?

Please say two days!

My 17 and a half week old daughter has been waking once, maybe twice, a night since we got home from hospital. Around Christmas she started waking three times most nights. This really didn't bother me. I'm breastfeeding and co-sleeping so it's not much of a hardship to wake up that many times for a few minutes each time.
However...the night before last, she woke up 6 times in 11 hours. Last night was 7 times in 10 hours. And she's feeding for around 20 minutes at a time. I am really tired already and dreading this going on for a month or more.
Please say it's reasonably temporary.

I am desperately hoping not long too! At 4.5 months my son's 8 hr sleeps went down hill and it's coming up to 4 weeks of waking every 2-3 hours.

It is rubbish isn't it!? I'll wait with you to get sone input on this one...,
