Bed for a toddler

DD is 2.7 and we want to buy her a bed with storage as her room is fairly small.

I've seen this but hubby thinks she's too small, but I don't want to buy another bed in a few years. I'll buy side bars so she doesn't fall out.

Advice and opinions please, x

Had a similar dilemma recently - DD aged 2.5 is outgrowing her cot-bed but we didn't want to get a toddler bed.

Can you go to one of their showrooms to see how high it really is?

We've recently ordered bunk beds from Aspace for our DD but the intention is to keep them as separate single beds (putting the other bed in another room) until she's older and starts having friends to stay, probably aged 5 or so. That said, we went to one of their shops and the bunks really weren't that high.

Aspace sell under-bed storage drawers. Could you get her a normal bed with under-bed storage instead?

dd went into a similar bed at around the age of 4. I wouldnt have put her in one any younger than that as it is tricky for them to get up and down the ladder in the night especially in the dark.

We had been considering a cabin bed for our 2.8m dd as we are also short of space.
But this weekend our 5yo niece slipped when climbing out of hers and had to go to hospital with a mild concussion.
Now we'r thinking of one of those duvan beds with the storage underneath.
