Hi all,
I am soon to have a back operation and it will mean i won't be able to hold my 19 month old. It has been suggested i can cuddle her when i am lying on our bed.
My problem is that if she cries at night or when going to sleep i sometimes go in and give her a quiet cuddle, then place her back in the cot. When my husband tries to do the same thing she cries more and tries to push away from him.
Any suggestions how we can get her to settle with her dad without the tears and upset? Seems she plays up more even though he tries to cuddle her?
