He slept through!!!!!

At last my ds was one last week and he has hardly ever slept through! Last night he did it!!!
2 night of hell but was worth t for a full nights sleep!

Congratulations - I must ask though, did you sleep through too, or did you wake up 4-5 times, slightly panicked, listening intently?

oh my god, auntymandy, how did you do it? dd is 2.5 and i can count on one hand the amount og nights she's slept through! any tips would be gratefully received!

I had 2 nights of no sleep almost! The second night, just lay him down when he cried said night night..left him 2 mins..then 3 then 4 at 5 he slept this happened twice. Thought I would have had another night like that but no. Lets see what tonight brings!

Yeh, well done your ds! your life will be changed forever......only problem is that you get VERY used to full nights sleep and then when they wake up through illness etc it's a killer

my others all slept through from been so little. This one is someone elses I think..he is SOOOOOOOO different in every way!!

my Jess has been up since 5.30am too - she isnt great at the moment either - Dh is not impressed - its his birthday today!

The first time my DS slept through I jumped out of bed like a scalded cat,and poked him to make sure he wasn't dead.

I remember doing that when they were tiny, but mine is a year old!! So I just slept! Must admit my body isnt used to it and I still woke at around 4 thought wow he is still asleep and struggled to get back to sleep!

another night, do you think I am safe to say we have cracked it!

....and another. He fell asleep about 5 o'clock on his big brothers knee and woke up this morning at 5.30.
oh I did put him to bed!
