Tiny box room for a bedroom?

Have 2 bedrooms but 2 DCs. Baby (7m)will need his own room soon as it is clear we are disturbing him and vice versa. Once his sleep stablised the idea was to move him in with 4 year old. However it is clear that won't work for now due to the age difference and different bedtimes.

For an interim solution was thinking about using this tiny tiny boxroom we have. Lord knows what it was originally but we use it to store stuff. It has a window but no door - though we could hang a curtain across if necessary. It will fit a cot. Probably measures about 6ft x 5ft.

Would that be OK do you think or would the baby be claustrophobic!? Would only be for a few months until he could move in with other child. Seems doable but worried it's too small. Any views?

Don't think your baby will mind. Both of my children started out in our smallest room which is 6ftx7ft and were in their own room by about 17 weeks as we were definitely disturbing each other, and they slept far better once they were moved too.

Thanks for reply. It seems really small but if I leave the door off not as clastrophic. Might give it a go!

I'm sure it will be fine. I think far from being claustrophobic, it might be rather cosy and safe for the baby.

DS1 was in a similarly small room for first 2 years, with a curtain across, without any apparent problems, and now his little brother is in there. I'm sure it will be fine.

MY DB IS IN BOX ROOM SIMILAR SIZE - HE HAS HAD HIS NAPS IN THERE FOR 4 WEEKS NOW AND DOES NOT SEEM TO MIND - THEY ONLY SLEEP IN IT - AS LONG AS VENTILATED AND CORRECT TEMP THEN NO WORRIES !!
