Can someone please advise what is the correct level of clothing for a baby in a 2.5 tog sleeping bag. The room temp is usually 19 degrees and i was going to try a short sleeved vest and a sleep suit but not sure if this is too much? My ds is 6 weeks old and its the first night of trying him in it.

My lo wears a 2.5 tog with vest and babygro and our room is slightly warmer than yours, we found in a 1 tog he would wake even more than he already does(!) I put it down to him getting cold

Hi this is the advice from the Bumpto3 website for Grobags:

20 degrees - long sleeved bodysuit
18 degrees - long sleeved bodysuit and pyjama top

Our room is between 18-20 and he wears a vest, babygro and the 2.5tog grobag. He's 9 months.

My son's room is 19 and he has long sleeved vest and a good quality sleep suit. Some of the cheaper ones are thinner and I swear he will wake if he's not in a mother care one. Very annoying as they are about £15 for 3 and he's only in them for about 2 months!
