LENIN did you solve DS2's sleep issues

and if so how?

DS is almost 13months old. We bf and co-sleep and he is a terrible sleeper.

He usually naps for an hour or so in the morning (usually fed to sleep) and again in the afternoon (in car or pram usually). Bed time 'routine' is as follows:

5H30-6pm Dinner
6-6H30pm Bath
then time of quite play/reading until showing signs of being tired which is usually around 7ish.
7pm Quick bf (usually about 10mins) to sleep.

He used to go down and sleep for 2-3hrs in an AMby, after which he'd come into bed with us. But it got dangerous when he could try to get out of it at about 10months and since then we've had a nightmare getting him to go down and sleep anywhere but in my arms, where he is very restless, and it obviously prevents me from having any free time in the evening and since I am a SAHM atm I really need a break.

The nights are not great either as he tends to wake at least every 45mins but will settle again very quickly with a feed, although sometimes really uses me as a dummy.

I realise that he has a strong boob-sleep association but I don't necessarily want to stop feeding him to sleep (it is a special time for us and a wondeful way to calm him) and am not keen on CC either.

No-one else is able to settle him back to sleep either. If DH goes in to try and settle him/he wakes and I'm not in the bed, he goes ballistic and works himself up into a complete frenzy.

I really, really, really just want to have a better night's sleep and have a bit of a break and some time to spend reconnecting with DH in the evenings.

I will be grateful for any advice...

Thanks Smile I suppose I just do need some reassurance that it will pass.

How is the loft, btw?

Ah. Thanks, I didn't know there was one now. Brilliant. I mean not, but, YKWIM?
