A question on co-sleeping

My 6-month-old daughter has always had a good bedtime routine, and goes down well after her bath/last feed. However, last week she got the norovirus, then a cold, now her eczema has flared up and she's developed a cough. Understandably she's been very grumpy and clingy and has been crying throughout the night. We've been taking her in with us, because it's the only way to calm her down and once she's with us she sleeps soundly. However, as much as I want to be there for her, I'm worried that she's going to get used to it and won't want to go back to her own bed when she's better. Any suggestions/advice/anyone been here before?

of course she will get used to it, it's where nature designed her to be.

Thank you for your lovely advice. She stayed in her own bed this morning until 5am, and then slept in with us until 9.30! It's perfect - she's happy and we get to have a lie in. Happy Christmas x
