newborn daytime sleep advice wanted

my ds is 9 days old. she feeds well but doesn't always nap between feeds in day. she's often quite content in moses basket but other times is restless. am worried she's not getting enough kip in day - nor am i! - and she's definitely not getting her 16 or so hours a day. Any advice?

Try letting her nap on you, or in a sling and see if tha helps

Swaddling is very good as well

Where is the moses basket? Some babies are used to noise while they sleep (from in the womb), some prefer quiet, some can only sleep in darkened room, some like motion (therefore sling or walks in pram). Second swaddling, but try not to let him nap on you too much it can become habit, then some babies will not settle on their own again. Also risk of rolling onto them if you are very tired.
