I know this has been done before and I've had a trawl through previous threads but has anyone got any ideas on how to help my DD (19 weeks) nap for more than 30 mins? She is like clockwork, always wakes up after 30 mins whether she is in her cot, being walked around in the pushchair, in a busy pub with background noise, etc, whatever the time of day. The only way I can make her sleep longer is (i) in the car (I simply refuse to drive up and down the M1 for an hour each day) and (ii) on me being cuddled (nice but not practical every day)...
My HV said that maybe 30 mins is all she needs, which is cr*p because she wakes up seriously grumpy. She's been like this for last 2 months or so since we stopped letting her have all her naps on us. Any good white noise cd's people would recommend? Currently trying her with the radio on in her room... Or has anyone tried leaving them to grumble for a little bit when they first wake up?
Have ordered the no cry nap solution book and waiting for it to arrive - anyone have good/bad experiences? just looking for tips really...
