Hi Devon,

I do believe that sleepwalking runs in families. DH did, DD1 did, DD2/3 didnt, but DS did. I never have done, either.

DS has wee-ed in weird places while sleep walking too. I have never found a way to stop him sleep walking, but am very quick at leaping out of bed and following him and guiding him to the toilet, or back to bed.

Once when we were on holiday DS managed to unlock the door of the place where we were staying. Luckily I heard him and ran down the road after him. He was starkers and I was running down the road with nightie flying behind me!! This worried me like mad, so when we cam home I had new locks that he would not be able to get to on the doors, although he is now taller than me, but the noise would now alert me!
So may be worth putting up a lock as a precaution. Not sure that getting your DS dry at night will make a huge difference though, as he may just continue doing it whether dry at night or not!

DH still sleepwalks and I have to follow him around the house. His "trick" is to go around putting on all the lights in the house, so I just follow and turn them off! DS has also randomly climbed into his Sisters beds, kicked them out of bed and snuggled down, or goes and whips their quilts off their beds!
Oh its fun in our house some nights. Grin
