nap time only in my arms

My 6wk old will only sleep in my arms/in the car/in the baby carrier or pram. I'm not getting a great amount of sleep at night and it would be good to get some sleep during the day. Any tips.

Have you tried swaddling? That was the only way to get DS to nap in his basket and not on me or in my armpit. Even then he would only nap for short bursts, but it eventually got better. I only unswaddled him last summer and he is 13 months old.

Obviously he has been free and unswaddled when not sleeping
