DD is 2 months old and her day goes a bit like this:

8ish Fed back to sleep in bed
9.30ish Downstairs, fed etc
10.30ish Fed back to sleep then put in Moses basket
12ish Awake again
2ish Fed back to sleep then into Moses basket
4ish Awake again
5ish Fed back to sleep OR feed/doze/feed/doze all evening on my knee
10ish to bed either shrieking ith overtiredness (bad day) or already in Moses basket (good day hooray)

A couple of times a week she has to get up earlier because DS has to be at nursery for 9. So I'm thinking I could start getting her up earlier (ie when she wakes at 8 stop feeding her back to sleep), and she might just settle earlier in the evenings (or at least if she kicks off she might pack in the bawling before 2am Hmm). But she seems to need soooo much sleep (had a bad start and got very overtired due to windy tummy but under control now we think), basically she wakes and by the time she's had some nappy off time, been changed etc and had a feed she's dozy again so I just let her keep feeding until she's gone back to sleep.

So waking her earlier seems counterintuitive, but I can't help feeling it might be better all round ... you've gotta speculate to accumulate, right?
