Amby hammock issues

I have put a sheepskin into the Amby hammock for dd2 (8 weeks) to sleep on and now she keeps sliding to the top and the hammock is tipping back.

Any tips? I have seen mention of weighting the bottom down. Anyone done that and what with?

I wouldn't weigh the end down. Can you try threading extra material from the head end so it is more raised and securing with the ties?

Hmm, I don't know, DH put it together and we bought it second hand so don't have the instructions.

Have you tried gathering more fabric at the head end and then securing the velcro. Instructions here

Thanks for that. Will try doing that.
