What are your lo's sleeping in a normal day at this age?
My ds used to be 2 hours 1-3pm - past week its been 1.5 hrs 1.45-3.15pm. Will he drop down to an hour then nothing?

Think it will depend on your child. My eldest would have gone on sleeping post lunch but the quality of her sleep at night started to get worse so we knocked it on the head at about 2.5. Basically she'd take ages to drop off and then wake early in the morning. There's an awful stage when you can't let them sleep after lunch, but they get really grotty around tea time. Lasts a couple of months in my experience, but is worth it because they then sleep better at night. Much will depend on how active your child is though.

my 18 month son sleeps about 1.5 - 2 hours in the day. there's no way i could cut this sleep out just yet!! i've tried it before and he fell asleep at 6 for the night.

my dd(2) still has at least 2hrs sleep in the day, if she doesn't she is miserable in the afternoon. She still sleeps right through from about 7ish till 7am ish.

At my ds nursery all the kids (1-2yrs) old go down after lunch for 2 hours. My ds normally only has about 1-1.5 hours but apparantly will sit with a nursery nurse reading while the other kids wake up.
