solids and sleep

My DD (7 mo) has been a great sleeper since the early days. 7.30pm-9am-ish with a dream feed (this has recently cut back to 7.30-7ish, which is absolutely fine). I started her on solids about 6 weeks ago and since then her sleep has been a bit more restless. Nothing too bad, but she cries out during the night, almost like a mini-waking. Sometimes she'll do it once, other times twice and then on a bad night she can do it four or five times (often within a periods of about an hour, rather than spread out through the night) and often around the 4am mark.

She'll cry for maybe a minute or so and then go back to sleep. My feeling is that she's in a bit of discomfort and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar after starting solids and if there's anything you can do to ease tummy cramps and the like. She has baby rice with fruit before bed. Have also posted in sleep.
