sleeping bags - too late?

My DD is seven months. She's a good sleeper but now that she's a bit more mobile she gets herself into all sorts of positions and kicks her blankets off three or four times a night. My question is, do people think it's too late to introduce a sleeping bag/gro bag thingy. They're quite expensive and I don't want to fork out if it's going to be a waste of time!

God no - I didn't put DS into one until he was nearly a year old! And then only because people on here raved about them. He used it until he grew out of it and it worked very well, IMO.

I was afraid he would overheat in one as he was a very hot baby - but he never seemed to (mind you, he had it over the winter).

I intoduced a sleeping bag at 1 year when DS went into his own cot - (previously co-sleeping).

No problem whatsover.

Try Ikea - they do nice snuggly and CHEAP ones Grin

I've brought a couple from charity shops. One was 75p and the expensive one £1. Ebay also good.

not too late at all, and they work well IMO. Lots of cheap ones out there - I got some for £10 in TKMax, and supermarkets are good too.

Thanks everyone - I borrowed one from a friend yesterday and she was very happy in it last night. I shall have a look into the cheaper options that you've recommended.
