Is this normal?

DD is nearly 6 months and is a really good sleeper but recently she is waking at 6am and sometimes earlier. I don't need to get up til 7am for work. I give her her last bottle at 8pm and she is normally asleep by 8.30 and doesn't wake in the night. I keep increasing her feeds but it doesn't seem to make any difference. She sleeps between 2 and 3 hours per day (whenever she's tired - no nap routine).

Does anyone know any ways to get her to sleep a little longer or is this just normal?

6 months and sleeps from 8.30-6am. Honestly you do not know how lucky you are.

Most babies are still waking up in the night at that age. I think she is doing really well and if she is also napping 3 hours in the day is getting enough sleep.

Hope that doesn't sound too harsh it's just I am very as if mine had slept through from 10-4am I would have been lucky at that age!

GillL, my DS is 6 months old too and last night (this morning !!) he was just going back to sleep at 6.00am having been awake from 3.45am. I'm soooo jealous

Sorry - didn't mean to make you feel bad ) Looks like I've been spoilt. I'll just count myself lucky.
