Sheepskin in cot

Have heard these are great for settling babies, and my DS certainly likes lying on one in the day. Have just bought a proper sterile one for baby sleeping on ebay, but not entirely sure what you do with them in a cot - do they go over the sheet and the baby just lies on top? Or do you put a sheet over the top of the sheepskin?

And are they any good? Hope so cos I've already bought one!

I used one and it hepled but put it under the sheet...although not sure it's recommended...but if like me you have a bad sleeper you'll try anything!

I use one for DD and she seems to love it but she's a good sleeper anyhow so it could be one of those things.

Looks nice and cosy anyhow.......

I use one, I have it on top of the sheet, with a large muslin at the head end and tucked in either side. I guess it would be better under the sheet maybe ...

I feel like it helps with transition between cot and travel cot, and did help when we moved from moses basket to cot. And it certainly looks comfy!
