Keeping 4 year old warm in bed

My 4 yr old DS moves around excessively in his sleep. Frequently he can be found at the other end of his bed. This usually leaves him un-covered. I am concerned that he will be getting cold. Has anyone any advice on how to keep him warm?

Does he wake up?

If not, leave him. He may be moving so much to kick off the covers if he's too hot.

Good point Diggery. He does wake up very early (5 ish) so thought it might be due to being cold, but maybe I just have to accept that he's an early riser.

Oh for the teenage years when I won't be able to get him out of bed. Smile

[hijack] Those all in ones are great for when they're not in nappies, but does anyone know of a good place to get footed pyjamas so they can take them off themselves to wee in the night?

I think if they get cold enough to wake then they naturally pull the covers back on - socks are good though for cold feet
