4mo move to own room?

Our ds is 17 weeks and will be 4mo on Monday. He sleeps in a bednest next to us in our tiny bedroom, but is INCREDIBLY restless every night from about 3.30am-6.30am. He bashes his legs up and down and crashes from side to side and sometimes grizzles a bit, but is still asleep. He wakes for a feed once, between 12.30 and 3.30, but pretty sure it's not wind.

We are knackered as awake through this every night! Any suggestions on how to stop the restlessness, or on putting him in his own room?

Considering putting him in his own room next week but worried about 6month recommendation helping prevent SIDS.

DS went into his own room at 9 weeks, and we all slept a lot better.
