Off to bed now, but what about a good, tight swaddle, and then wedge him on his side? Not long now before he can roll over himself, and then I'd let him do what he likes, tbh.

i used to put dd down on her back and she would roll straight over. at first i was quite worried like you are. but no matter what i did, i would always find her fast asleep on her tummy. i used to try rolling her back over or onto her side while she was asleep but its like playing a game of buckaroo! liable to wake at any movement!

in the end i just gave up. she is now 10 months and still sleeps on her side or front.

a friend did have success by tucking the end of her ds' grow bag under the end of the matress. altho he wasnt quite a strong willed as my dd!
